28th Annual Skittles Waco Wild West Century


When: September 22, 2012 @ 8:00 a.m.

Where: University Parks Dr & Washington Ave

Tours: 10, 25, 50, 65 & 100 Miles

Entry Fee: $25.00
Early Registration Before 9/14/2012

10 mile: Family friendly tour goes through beautiful Cameron Park and downtown Waco. There are several rest stops to make it a fun ride for all.

25 mile: This Tour is also fun for families and recreational riders. This route is quite flat and passes by the Lake Waco Dam and the peaceful surrounding








countryside.

50 mile & 65 mile: These Tours are relatively flat with a few challenging hills!

100 mile: This Tour takes riders through picturesque countryside on rural roads in McLennan and Bosque counties. The Tour goes through historic Mother Neff State Park, the oldest state park in Texas. Although relatively flat, there are some challenging hills!

Again this year, the 50, 65 and 100-mile routes feature a rest stop at the Mars Snackfood candy factory, home of Skittles®.

  • First Place won by Stop #15 at Ritchie Rd. - Texas Christian Academy
  • Second Place won by Stop #9 at Oglesby - Boy Scout Troop #498
  • Third Place Tie - Waco Triathlon Club Stop #7 at Compton Rd. and Rapoport Academy Stop # 14 at Austin Ave.
  • New category signage award won by Waco Triathlon Club.
